About the RTA
The Royal Twirling Association (RTA) is the UK's premier baton twirling and majorette competition organisation, founded in February 2026 by Liam Crooks.
RTA provides professional, safe, and fair competition events across 9 disciplines, including Pom, Dance Twirl, Military Freestyle, Solo Baton, Duo Baton, Solo Pom, Duo Pom, Dance Pom, and Dance Team, for dancers of all ages across the United Kingdom.
With 100% DBS-checked staff, a dedicated Safeguarding Officer, transparent judging criteria, and a modern digital platform for membership and competition management, RTA is setting new standards for excellence in the UK baton twirling community.
